Intergenerational learning and mentoring in business and technology. A project submitted to the University of Dublin in part fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Science in Technology & Learning. Senior Intergenerational Social Capital Project (SISC) - The aim of SISC is to capitalise on the potential of senior workers, especially if close to retirement, fostering the transfer of individual know-how and competencies to new generations of workers within companies. A European initiative - a possible resource for ideas in this area.

Prime: Helping over 50s back into work through self-employment.
The initiative provides free information, events and training to help older adults back into work by starting their own business. PRIME has another web site that provides practical information and guidance to such "olderpreneurs". (This initiative is currently not active in Scotland but ideas are equally relevant.)
